16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

In just a few days my friends we will be celebrating Christmas. Many of us will rise early in the morning to open our gifts with our children. Throughout the day we will be opening gifts with our loved ones and close friends. But as we open our gifts I wonder if we will think about God's gift to us.

The Bible tells us that God, the creator of Heaven and Earth, so loved the world (mankind) that he gave his only Son. God gave to the world the best that he had to give which was Jesus, our Lord. The sinless lamb of God came into the world to save mankind from it's sin. Anyone who believes in him will never perish (or be destroyed) but will have eternal life. Jesus, my friends is the Greatest Gift ever given!!

As we celebrate Christmas this Wednesday, and as we open our gifts let us remember the Greatest gift ever given to mankind; Jesus, the lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the World. If you have never trusted him as your personal Lord and Savior, don't let this Christmas season pass without doing so. God's gift, Jesus, is completely free. All you have to do my friend is receive him into your heart. The scriptures say , "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

This Christmas won't you open the Greatest Gift ever given to mankind: Jesus the lamb of God!
